The RM 07-01 shines with its extreme mechanical perfection, it also shines with the sensual and curvaceous lines of its tonneau shaped case design and its dial with a gemstone set center field. Comfort has always been one of the brand’s top priorities. Many years of development and testing concerning the development of this strap has resulted in a very ergonomic ensemble that is a pleasure to wear.

The heart of this new timepiece centers on the novel, in house designed caliber CRMA2, a highly skeletonised automatic movement developed specifically for the RM 07-01.

FREE SPRUNG BALANCE WITH VARIABLE INERTIA Guarantees greater reliability when subjected to shock and also during movement assembly and disassembly, hence better chronometric results over time. The regulator index has been eliminated, thus guaranteeing a more accurate and repeatable adjustment is possible thanks to 4 small adjustable weights located directly on the balance.

Setting gemstones in NTPT carbon is a new adventure for the brand. Unlike gold, which can be worked directly with tools to create the prongs that will hold the diamonds, the hardness and resistance of NTPT carbon mean special CNC machines for milling equipped with diamond tools are required to perform the mitraillage involved in a pavé setting.

PATENTED STEM-CROWN CONSTRUCTION

This newly designed crown allows the integrity of the movement to be fully guaranteed and protected from external influences, since it does not use a classical crown attachment going into the depth of the movement’s heart. An ideal solution for the long-term protection of the movement.

ROTOR WITH VARIABLE GEOMETRY

This rotor with variable inertia has been incorporated into the caliber CRMA2 as it allows the rotor to be set according to the owner’s activity level. The setting is modified by adjusting the two weights which can be moved into the correct position and fixed in place by spline screws. Inertia of the movement is increased when the two weights are closer to each other and the barrel then rewinds more quickly. If the weights are positioned to the extremities of the rotor, the inertia is decreased, resulting in the barrel winding more slowly.

This type of barrel has the following advantages:
- The phenomenon of periodic internal mainspring adhesion is significantly diminished, thereby increasing performance, - Provision of an excellent mainspring delta curve with an ideal power reserve/performance and regularity ratio.

NEWLY DEVELOPED GEAR TEETH PROFILE
The entire going train of the watch, the primary transmitter of power throughout the movement, utilizes a special profile for the teeth of the wheels. Developed for the caliber CRMA2, the wheels use a 20° pressure angle.
This system equalizes any discrepancies that might arise between the axles of each wheel, and promotes an excellent transmission of torque to the balance wheel, thus supporting excellent chronometric characteristics.
